Bliss Stamp Set Video

Stampin' Up!'s Shannon West demonstrates some great uses for the Free Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, Bliss, on this Video. The 5 stamps that come with this set work together really well for simple yet elegant cards and cards with a beautiful Vintage look.  Watch the Video to see how Shannon easily makes splatter marks on the paper using an aquapainter and ink from an ink pad lid.  What a great technique!

Stamping Cards with a Tie Dye Look

Aren't these cards really cool looking?  I was admiring them at the NJ Winter Wonderlude weekend that I attended and wondered how they were made. I could see that the image (Extreme Skateboard 115179 $8.95) had been stamped and heat embossed with black embossing powder to give it that shiny look.  But I was a bit unsure how to get that color on.

I checked with the creator of the cards, Jen Peel, and she told me that she used a sponge dauber (109282) and applied Classic Stampin' Pad ink.  She used mostly Bold Brights colors to get that brillant look.  Thanks Jen!


You can find more 'extreme' images in the Idea Book and Catalog on page 80. The Dirt Bike (115175), Guitar (115328), Snowboard (115177) and Surfboard (115173) would all look great using this tie dye technique and each single stamp is priced at only $8.95.  Use them to make great cards and projects for the big and little guys in your life!
